Hard Work, Lots of Team Effort, and Strong Ethics
Imagine my surprise when I got an email congratulating me and Technical Connections on being one of the fastest growing companies in LA. So I quickly looked up our standing in the LA Business Journal and found that we are #85. Not one of the top 10 but not too shabby either. And we’re number 3 on the list of contingency search firms and number 8 in temporary staffing. That got me to thinking about the last almost 30 years and why we’ve not only survived but actually thrived. What I quickly realized is that it’s all about the team and it’s all about integrity.
This is not a one (wo)man show – TCI is composed of a number of very experienced and, more importantly caring, individuals. Everyone from the receptionist to the most senior member of the staff (that would be me) is expected to do what we say we will do. We count on each other implicitly and no one is better or more important than anyone else. In fact, the company is really run by my Office Manager/HR Manager/ person who knows everything, Debbie Monteiro, who has been with me for over 13 years. And we could never have been successful without our VP, Finance, Bernhard Punzet, who has been at TCI since the late 90’s.
The ethics and integrity that are exhibited on a daily basis by my staff consistently make me very proud. We treat each candidate with the utmost respect and recognize how important it is for them to make the right decision when changing jobs. Additionally, we strive to understand each client’s need so that we can provide her/him with the very best candidate available.
Yes, I know many recruiting firms use the same or similar words to describe their company. But how many have a 30 year track record?
