Job Title: Business Systems Analyst Manager

As a Business Systems Analyst Manager:

  • You will lead a team of six business systems analysts working on several financial-related projects
  • You will partner closely with business and technical teams on appropriate tasks

We are looking for someone who can:

  • Handle resource loading, project planning, work allocation, training, and facilitation
  • Analyze and resolve business needs, support proposals, and recommend solutions for business cases (including deadline and budget estimates)
  • Gather user requirements to build and deliver functional IT specifications
  • Document existing and recommended flows and build use cases
  • Perform data evaluation, data mapping, and interface mapping to databases and multiple internal/external applications
  • Lead team in supporting improvements and new functionalities for end user applications/systems
  • Deliver requirements and functional design for internally-developed products and customizable third-party applications
  • Provide mentorship on applicable methodologies, systems and business processes
  • Conduct staff performance reviews and provide constructive feedback

What Gets You the Job?

  • 2 to 3 years of recent, formal experience leading business analysts
  • 7+ years’ experience as a Business/Systems Analyst with proven successful management and leadership of multiple projects
  • 5+ years’ overall information technology experience
  • Financial/banking experience is required
  • Proven knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • In-depth analysis experience including resource allocation systems/process improvements
  • 3+ years’ experience using MS Office software, platform and programs
  • Understanding of scoping documents, mockup, functional requirements and technical specifications
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills (written, verbal, presentation)
  • Ability to communicate technical- and business-related information
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills
