Job Title: IT Specialist/Support
Our client, an independent college preparatory school in Los Angeles, is looking for an Infrastructure Specialist to provide excellent technical support and customer service across their organization – from staff and faculty to students and parents. Here you will perform a wide array of tasks to ensure that operations run smoothly, as well as utilize your technical expertise to effectively communicate concepts and work through issues as they arise.

As our IT Specialist/Support:

  • You will provide IT support to users – over the phone, in-person, email, and remotely
  • You will identify, diagnose, and resolve problems on Windows devices and various peripherals including (but not limited to): printers, scanners, computers, projectors, and A/V equipment
  • You will provide occasional on-call, after-hours support via phone and email

In addition, you will:

  • Manage SCCM collections, packages, applications, drivers, task sequences and images
  • Create reference images and manage the hardware database using Microsoft Deployment Toolkit
  • Create, use, and deploy PowerShell scripts
  • Create and maintain group policies
  • Manage O365 and related components
  • Keep an accurate inventory of both physical and digital assets

What Gets You the Job?

  • 3 years’ experience in providing end user technical support in a service-oriented environment
  • Strong knowledge of the end-to-end process of Operating System Deployment (OSD)
  • Knowledge of MS Windows in enterprise environments
  • Experience with SCCM OSD is helpful
  • Functional knowledge of Microsoft Server OS
  • Knowledge of Apple products is helpful
  • Basic understanding of printing environments and functions
  • Functional knowledge of A/V equipment environments
  • General networking knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Excellent prioritization skills
  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment on various tasks and projects
  • Strong customer service focus and work ethic
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds of equipment (i.e. laptops, desktops, monitors, laser printers, etc.)
  • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle
