Job Title: Senior Business Analyst (O365)
Our client, a major motion picture company in West LA, is looking for a Business Analyst to bring extensive MS Office 365 knowledge to related projects. As our subject matter expert, you will play a major role on the implementation team responsible for rolling out O365-related services across the organization. You’ll also perform multiple tasks related to analysis, testing, and facilitation on Agile Scrum and Waterfall projects.

As our Senior Business Analyst, you will:

  • Gain functional and system knowledge of Office, messaging, email and mobility management
  • Participate in requirements gathering, documentation, review and sign-off exercises
  • Engage in design sessions and lead current state to future state mapping exercises
  • Map dependencies and sequencing of project phases and workstreams
  • Efficiently supports project managers, scrum masters, product owners and other SMEs
  • Lead in functional design and related documentation work including process maps, process flows, data models, system integration flows, workflows and other analysis artifacts
  • Participate in change management work, communicate reception of consumer-facing functionalities, and assess the impact
  • Develop test cases for requirements, stories and tasks
  • Participate in functional and regression testing
  • Assist in developing product and project status reports
  • Support development of  training programs and demos for teams and end users

What Gets You the Job?

  • 4+ years’ experience as an IT business analyst – prior management consultant experience is a huge plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Information Technology, Law, Compliance or Business Administration
  • Experience working as architect, designer or business systems analyst in an O365 implementation
  • Strong knowledge of Office 365 services, capabilities and features from a functional and technical standpoint
  • Proficiency with Exchange Online, Azure AD, Intune MDM and MAM, Skype for Business Online and Office Pro Plus
  • Familiarity with change management and impact analysis/assessment
  • Certifications in O365 and Azure platform are beneficial
  • Functional knowledge of the MS Office 365 platform including Exchange, Intune, Skype for Business Online, Azure AD and Azure ecosystem
  • Must have a strong passion to learn and absorb new functionalities in the O365 space
  • Must possess essential business analysis skills including but not restricted to requirements facilitation, elaboration, mapping current to future state
  • Ability to build strong working relationships across an organization
