Job Title: Program Consultant - EPMO

Our client is looking for a Program Consultant with enterprise experience and an intuitive, methodical approach to the implementation and delivery of complex programs. Here you will help define EPMO framework, governance structure and processes that will make up the foundation of these programs. You’ll also coordinate the activities of project teams and managers and make recommendations that will further the health of our client’s portfolio.

As our EPMO Program Consultant:

  • You will help drive the delivery program plan objectives and activities
  • You’ll facilitate high-level meeting across various departments and projects to achieve program goals
  • You’ll create and define program and governance structures to both support successful delivery and manage program risk

In addition, you will:

  • Update stakeholders and management on schedule, budget, quality and outcome of all program elements
  • Create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning and document cross-program dependencies
  • Effective lead matrixed program/project teams including junior managers
  • Adhere to management guidelines and delivery methodologies when applicable

What Gets You the Job?

  • Bachelor's Degree – Master’s Degree is a plus
  • PMP Certification preferred
  • Background in management consulting or technical project management
  • 2+ years’ experience managing complex programs and/or projects involving large teams and multiple departments
  • 2+ years’ experience with banking or financial services and/or within the tech industry
  • Prior experience with implementing/supporting applications or infrastructure environments within a technology organization is a huge plus
  • Demonstrated ability to break down high-level technical information for non-technical users
  • In-depth understanding of project methodology and project management tools/techniques
  • Strong negotiation and leadership skills
  • Deep knowledge of banking/financial institution-related strategic plans and direction

Compensation: $125,000/Year
