Job Description

Job Title: Workday HCM Business Analyst
Our client is looking for a Business Analyst with Workday HCM experience to support and administer various business systems. Here you will provide escalated tier support of bugs and issues. You'll also become an SME on all internal systems (ERP, HRIS, CRM, etc.) in order to provide customized support, user adoption, and general administrative functions.

As our Workday HCM Business Analyst:

  • You will collaborate directly with Business Owners and IT development teams to analyze business project and change requests supporting various enterprise applications
  • You’ll prioritize and triage requests from department stakeholders to provide expectations and feedback
  • You will work closely with business leaders to understand their processes, needs, priorities, and future roadmap initiatives

In addition, you will:

  • Successfully manage projects assigned by Senior Managers to competition and successful adoption
  • Build long-term Employee Self-Sufficiency capabilities for employees across the enterprise
  • Write and maintain business requirements, functional specifications and test plans
  • Research and evaluate possible 3rd party software/hardware as solutions to business requests
  • Engage with third-party software/hardware teams to successfully implement and integrate solutions
  • Coordinate, manage, and design platform releases, ensuring that needed compliance documentation and process is being followed

What Gets You the Job?

  • 6 to 8 years’ related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Relevant Bachelor’s Degree or experience in lieu of required education is preferred
  • Exceptional core Business Analyst skillset including process analysis, requirement gathering, project management, visual modeling, process flow, development processes, user adoption, and buy-in
  • Accomplished in administrating different SaaS or on-premise applications with a focus on Workday’s HCM solutions
  • Ability to translate business requirements to potential solution design that fit into IT long term strategy
  • Ability to act as Project Manager/Coordinator on assigned projects
  • Ability to effectively present information and clearly respond to questions from business users
  • Must be self-motivator and able to complete tasks with limited direction and/or guidance
  • Must be able to conduct meetings and present in front of a small group
  • Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and documentation skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office toolset
