Job Description

Job Title: Senior HRIS Analyst
Our client, a major retailer and a household name, is looking for a Senior HRIS Analyst to support projects related to HR systems development and management. In this position, you will collaborate with leaders, stakeholders, HR team members, and end users to fully understand HR needs, identify systems gaps, and problems and develop fully contextualized solutions. Knowledge of Waterfall, Agile and/or Scrum project management methodologies for timely, cost-efficient delivery.

As our Senior HRIS Analyst, you will:

  • Manage and implement HR software integrations, maintenance and upgrades
  • Develop, implement, and manage HR system integrations and functional specs related to system development
  • Provide key activities including feasibility, timeframes, cost, requirements definition, staffing requirements, design, testing, training, implementation and maintenance
  • Develop and administer system quality control standards and processes
  • Communicate and report progress IT, PMO, executive management and stakeholders
  • Efficiently track projects and understand potential risks and mitigation strategies
  • Utilize data from multiple databases to analyze and identify trends and provide statistical summaries management and executives
  • Provide HR software application training and production support to end users
  • Provide recommendations as needed on practices and procedures, policy interpretations, exceptions, problem resolution and formal root cause analysis
  • Work with onshore, offshore, and/or SaaS vendor development to gather, analyze, document and communicate business requirements
  • Manage SaaS and other vendors to ensure that software solutions are delivered on-time, adhere to business requirements, and meet quality standards

What Gets You the Job?

  • College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 7+ years’ overall experience with minimum 2 years in HR experience and 5 years in HRIS
  • Preferred experience in system implementation and upgrades
  • Previous HRIS project management experience and vendor management
  • Expert knowledge of data analytics, configuration, query tools, SQR, Crystal, Excel and Access
  • Proven ability to analyze and review data (i.e. key HR metrics, diversity reporting, retention analysis, etc.) and recognize relationships and patterns
  • Experience providing reports to leadership via graphs, dashboards, scorecards, etc.
  • Familiarity with Waterfall, Agile and/or Scrum project management methodologies
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
