Data Engineer – Senior
Our client is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join their team! In this role, you will collaborate with internal teams and personnel to examine data from a higher-level perspective and leverage findings across products. Duties will be carried out with a strong focus on scalability and security.
What Gets You the Job?
- 10 years’ comprehensive experience with design, development, performance and restructuring/optimizing queries, ensuring scalability
- Proficient with software product development services and practices
- Knowledge of AWS/Azure, modern databases, and considerations around data architecture in a cloud environment
- Experience with Snowflake, MySQL, Aurora, PostgreSQL, Python, database architecture and design, SaaS
- Ability to analyze data structures within databases, refactor, and build pipelines
- Excellent collaboration skills and ability to serve as mentor
- Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams, participate in weekly meetings
- Willingness to keep up to date with relevant technologies and processes
