What You Will Do

  • Serve as liaison between the company and the customer
  • Take ownership of cases escalated by Technical Support engineers until resolution has been reached
  • Provide in depth troubleshooting, analysis and workaround on advanced and complex issues
  • Work closely with the Sustaining team on root cause analysis and code changes
  • Work to fully understand client's business objectives and impact, resolving issues and ensuring success in a timely manner
  • Manage issues while keeping customers informed of progress
  • Effectively communicate customer feedback to various departments

What Gets You the Job?

  • 3 – 5 years’ technical support experience or related (i.e. tier 3 or Sustaining Support Engineer)
  • 3 years’ networking support experience
  • 2 years’ Java programming experience
  • 1 year of SQL experience
  • Strong knowledge of security and vulnerability management
  • Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI, VLAN, DNS, NMAP, LDAP
  • Experience and understanding of troubleshooting and network architecture
  • Ability to read and write SQL queries, read and debug code
  • Experience administering multiple operating systems (Linux, Windows, Mac OS, etc.)
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking ability
  • Strong ability to effectively communicate (written and verbally) and collaborate, with a desire to learn and help define solutions
  • Network +, Security +, or relevant Network/Security certifications are highly preferred
