Email/Marketing Data Analyst

Location: Thousand Oaks, CA

Skills: SQL, Data, Excel and specifically with Vlook ups, pivot tables and filtering, analysis skills

What You Will Do

  • Effective management and prompt execution of marketing/sales campaigns
  • Work under the direction of the Campaign Development Manager in support of the List Development, Marketing Communication, Marketing, and Sales teams
  • Identify business objectives, execute campaign activities (including workflow process), and support annual goals
  • Obtain approval as agreed-upon throughout the campaign process and with respect to business objectives
  • Collaborate with teams and key stakeholders to streamline processes and complete campaign related documentation (i.e. SharePoint Campaign Form and Campaign Brief)
  • Ensure complete documentation on campaign forms and brief
  • Provide ongoing status on marketing/sales emails to the Marketing Campaign team
  • Obtain approval as agreed-upon throughout campaign processes with respect to business objectives
  • Use all abilities of list extraction system – create and complete 5 to 7 list extractions per day (direct mail and/or email) and meet all SLAs
  • Achieve a weekly goal of 80% in delivering estimated/final list counts
  • Provide continuous status on campaign workflow development
  • Escalate any issues with campaigns to Campaign Development Manager
  • Take part in creative development and production oversight
  • Communicate with Email Developer in cross-training in support of each other’s duties

What Gets You the Job?

  • Recent college graduates with internship or 1+ years of SQL and Excel experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a relative field of study
  • Experience in data manipulation performing data extraction (SQL or similar)
  • Extensive knowledge of PC spreadsheets
  • Strong database software knowledge (SQL, Cognos)
  • Strong understanding of SQL programming language (Cognos)
  • Strong Excel experience including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables and filtering
  • Strong analytical skills, prioritization and time management skills
  • Team-driven collaboration skills and ability to work/problem-solve independently
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to convey processes to both technical and to non-technical personnel

Compensation: $60,000 Per Year
