Lead Production Support Technician

Location: El Segundo, CA

What You Will Do

  • Work extensively within Order Management Systems production environments, including software applications
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve technical support issues within software applications
  • Distinguish defects, identify steps to reproduce these defects, and escalate appropriate issues to the Applications Engineering team
  • Act as primary liaison between the Production Support team and Tier 1 support team
  • Respond to inquiries from internal stakeholders incidents as needed
  • Work closely with multiple teams and team members across the organization
  • Track, escalate, document and work to resolve production support issues/bugs in JIRA
  • Track progress, deliverables, issues and risks for incident management
  • Prioritize issues and triage to maintain SLA and Service Delivery KPIs
  • Prepare and maintain reports on SLA standards and performance
  • Analyze incident data for the system to identify patterns/frequency to inform process improvement efforts
  • Provide on-call support as needed

What Gets You the Job?

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a related field
  • 2+ years’ strong experience and understanding of XML, XSLT, SQL Server
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of Atlassian JIRA/Confluence
  • Strong and clear communication skills (written/verbal) with the ability to articulate information to all levels of technical and non-technical personnel
  • Strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Team player with the ability deliver results within strict deadlines and a fast-paced environment
  • Nice to have: Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science or related field of study)
