Technical Connections, a firm that I started 25 years ago to provide technology recruiting support in the most ethical and professional manner possible, has always prided itself on using the latest and greatest tools to connect to both our clients and candidates. With this blog, which is linked in to our web site, our LinkedIn page and our Facebook page, we have arrived, at least until the next new thing comes along.
So, now that we’re here, what do we have to say? You’ll be hearing from a number of our staff, which includes 25 recruiters, account managers, and support personnel. Each of us has a voice that will be expressed at some point on this blog. And each person, many of whom have been with me for more than 10 years, has a unique perspective on the market. We’re currently seeing an upsurge in the market, with companies recognizing that there is a need to use us in identifying candidates that are not all over the boards. People with good skills are again getting multiple offers and, though salaries have fallen a little, lowball offers rarely result in a good hire.
